Former  Aggie Quarterback Vincent Gay made his professsional football debut in Austria last week as his team fell 54-16 to the Vienna Vikings.  Gay's team the St. Polten Invaders were also making their debut in the top league in Austria at the home of one of Europe's top football teams, the Vienna Vikings

"Vinnie threw a TD pass and rushed for over 60 yards in the game.  He faced a buzz saw in the Vienna Vikings.  They have been a European power in American football for many years." stated OPSU head football coach Mike Wyatt.  Wyatt should know, having spent 13 years of his 31 year coaching career in Europe winning 2 European titles.

If current plans hold, Vinny should be back for the fall at OPSU to help coach quarterbacks for the Aggies.

Vinnie was the Aggies 2010 Offensive MVP and helped guide the Aggies to a 5-6 record and helped the team lead the nation in NCAA II in red-zone scoring efficiency.
