AGGIES CLAIM HOMECOMING VICTORY ON COLD FALL DAY

The Aggies hosted Southwestern College of Kansas on a cold October day with temperatures hovering in the 30s. However Aggie quarterback proved to be red-hot passing for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns to 3 different receivers. Aggie runner Darryl Brister also added 107 rushing yards and a TD, as well, as the Aggies rolled to a 35-14 victory.
The Aggies also saw junior receiver Doug Williams catch 5 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Shae Tarbet and Tyler Northcutt each added catches on 17 and 50 yards respectively.
The Aggies picked up their first homecoming win since 2005 in front of a spirited and chilled crowd that included 1958 All American Junior Wolf; 2004 All American Jeborric Evans; award winning sports journalist and alum Frank Corsoe; Charles Bush, MVP Lineman from 1961 All Sports Bowl: Rich Lawrence, one of the Aggies all time winningest coaches with a 17-5 record and NAIA National Playoff appearance; and All District defensive back from 1980, David Steele, among others on hand.
Jose Huerta , Aggie linebacker turned in a fine performance on defense with 11 tackles along with defensive lineman William Turnbo with 7 tackles.
