Former Aggies Still on Gridiron

Since leaving OPSU after the 2006 season, David Daniels has found continued success on the gridiron. Last spring and summer the gifted running back led his team, the Triangle Razorbacks of the Danish Football League to the Danish Super Bowl, known as the Mermaid Bowl, where he earned MVP honors for his play in leading his team to the title.

This summer, Daniels is playing indoor professional football in St. Louis for the RiverCity Rage. The team is currently in second place in their division coming off a huge win over the Bloomington Extreme, the division leader with 32-26 overtime victory.

Wide receiver/running back Steven Jackson who also completed his Aggie eligibility in 2006 is heading to Dusseldorf Germany to join the Dusseldorf Panthers of the German Football League. Jackson, who will be making his first trip abroad spent the spring semester as an assistant football coach with the Aggies.
